My Review

I thought Tabatha Vargo done a great job with this book. She is now my favorite author. I give her a 5 star although I do wish I could give her a 10 star cause she well deserves it.
Don't want to give any spoilers out so I am not going to post to much about the book.
Devin is good god almighty loveable and such a bad boy at the same time. Love it. Lilly is an overweight teen who thinks she doesn't deserve Devin but in the end she finds out she does and so much more.
That is all I am going to say about this wonderful book. So seriously go get the book its just that great. Tabatha has had so many good reviews on it.

About the Author:

Tabatha has been writing since she could pick up a pencil. Her first publication was a little poem in her elementary school paper, from that point on she was hooked. When she was a teenager, she traded in her girly magazines for personalized writing notebooks.

At nineteen, she met her own personal prince charming and writing took a back burner for a while. She is now married to that prince and the mother of a beautiful Six year old princess/rock star. Once her daughter was born, writing came back into her life, and she finished her very first novel in May of 2009.

She is pursuing a Bachelors in English and hopes to one day teach while continuing to write.

As a stay-at-home mom and full-time student, Tabatha enjoys the freedom of spending a good bit of her days doing what she loves the most…writing.

Author Tabatha Vargo Interview

We are going to ask you a little about both of your books "On The Plus SIde" and "Wicked Fate" is that alright?
Of course it's alright!

Tonya- what inspired you to write On The Plus Side? and what inspired you to write "Wicked Fate"?

I'm a plus size girl and I have been my entire life. I grew up with low self-confidence and it was awful. My husband wass a ladies man and when I met him he kind of pulled me out of my shell. We fell in love and we've been together for eleven years. I think the whole story originated from us. Me...short and chunky. Him...talk, dark, and handsome. We're awesome, though! I love us!

Wicked Fate is a story that's been in my head since I was a young girl. I grew up being able to do strange things. Nothing as strange as what Mage can do, but still strange. Wicked Fate is the product of a young girl with some strange abilities and a wild imagination who enjoyed writing.

Tonya- What is the parts of the real life events of this book?

The dialogue! A lot of the stuff Devin says to Lilly my own husband has said to me over the years. Lilly is pretty much me. Every fat joke she cracks in the book I have cracked before. So, she's very close to my heart. lol There are a few other "scenes" that I wrote from memory. hehehe

Tonya- How was it writing with Devin (America's PlayBoy) standing over you the entire time?

LOL Well, he was a swift kick in the butt. No he wasn't bad. Thankfully, I live with a former playboy and I know their inner workings. I've had people tell me that Devin and Lilly are such realistic characters. lol They are more real than you guys realize!

Tonya- What inspires you to write the most?

I'm not really sure where my inspiration comes from. I just know I love telling stories and fresh ideas come to me on a daily basis. I won't take advantage of something that so many people feel is a gift. I will write until I can't write anymore.

Bree- When writing, what is your thinking process? Do you plan things out or just go with the flow?

When I write I put myself in my characters shoes and shut everyone else out. I know that sounds awful, but it really helps me spin out what I feel are good, well rounded characters. I never plan anything out. When I write I just go with the flow and things just fall together. I've actually surprised myself with twists in my own book before. lol I wouldn't know how to outline a book.

Bree- What can you tell us about your next release and when can we expect it? I have so many books that are coming up?

I'm shooting for having Wicked Hope done sooner than the rest, but I never force my writing. I go where the characters take me. It's one of the biggest reasons I'm glad I'm an Indie author. I can write when I want about what I want. So there's no telling which book will get done first. I will say other than Wicked Hope, which is book two in the Wicked Trilogy, I will also revisit some people that appeared in On the Plus Side, I have an angel book almost ready to release and a vampire book as well. I swore I'd stay away from vampires, but I think it's a fresh spin on things. All in all, there is somewhere around 15 books sitting in my laptop as we speak that need to be released.

Bree- How do you feel, knowing people fangirl over not only you, but Devin as well?

lol First of all, whenever someone says something about me having "fans" I giggle. It's so surreal to me because I'm just me. As far as Devin goes, I can totally see him having fans. He's just that kind of guys. He's yummy on all accounts.

Tonya- If you could visit one place you have never been in the world where would it be and why?

Venice because it's so beautiful, old, and rustic. My kind of place.

Tonya- Which book "Wicked Fate" or "On The Plus Side" did you have the most fun writing?

I had more fun writing On the Plus Side. I really think NA contemporary is my zone. I literally laughed out loud writing that book. I enjoyed it so much I wish I could do it again.

Tonya- When is your next book going to be released and what is it?

My next book will be released end of March early April and I really HOPE it's Wicked Hope.

Tonya- Are we going to hear another part of "On The Plus SIde" with Lilly and Devin's story?

I may revisit Lilly and Devin in the future, however, there will be spin offs from the other characters in their story. It's how I will create the Chubby Girl Chronicles.

Why did you always go for tall skinny ass skanks like you did in the book and before Lilly? Didn't you know Fat Bitches do it better. Lol
It's what I was used to, but once I went big I didn't go back

So now you like more curves right?
Yeah curvy girls are sweeter

What do you think about all these older women wanting you? I been in the release party while you was and you get blown up?
lol It's all good. They are sweet. Women are worse than men sometimes.

What do you personally want to say to any guys who prefers skinny girls over curves?
Big girls ride harder and know how to cuddle better afterwards. lol Seriously though, it's all about personality and they way a woman carries herself. Confidence is the hottest thing a woman can wear and if she's wearing that then it doesn't matter if she's fat or skinny she'll be gorgeous.

Other than working on cars what do you like to do?

I like to hang out with my boys and play pool. I play constantly and I'm pretty good.

Did you like working with Tabatha on this book?
Well, I didn't really do much. Just sat there and looked pretty lol

Are you single?
lol yeah I am

What's your biggest turn offs?
I don't like rude people. If I see a female being purposely rude to someone else it's a turn off for me. I'm big on personality.

How was it working for your dad while you was growing up?
Working for my dad was hard sometimes. He's a bit of a hard ass. lol Likes things done a certain way and stuff, but I learned a lot from him.
